You really want to change your life, but you don’t have the time.
I’ll get around to it one day.
Maybe I’ll try in the new year.
Well, I’d like you to forget all that.
I invite you to be with me right here and now, in this moment.
In this article, I’m offer you three incredibly valuable ways you can spend the next 15 minutes. Any one of these can create huge, positive changes in your life.
Sure, you could scroll through social media or check your email or watch a video.
Or you could do something that will change your life for the better. All it takes is 15 minutes.
Ready? Here we go…
#1 Write down a list of everything you can think of to appreciate
Grab a pen and paper and make a list of everything you appreciate, large and small. Start with one thing and allow the momentum to build. Allow a stream of thoughts to flow onto the page.
Write down everything that comes to mind, everything you can think of that you can appreciate. It could be the fact the sun comes up every morning. Or it could be someone you’re really glad to have in your life.
Don’t try too hard. Set the timer on your phone for 15 minutes and do the best you can.
Why is this exercise so valuable?
When you generate sincere feelings of appreciation, you raise your vibration into the vicinity of your higher self, which exists as pure, unconditional love and light. The closer your vibration gets to your higher self, the more susceptible you become to your higher self’s love, wisdom, guidance, and manifestational magic!
You’ll be amazed at how a little appreciation can improve your mood right now AND start manifesting a brighter future.
#2 Give yourself credit for all you’ve experienced and accomplished this year
Grab your calendar or schedule from this year. Go through it month by month, week by week, and make a list of all the things you’ve experienced and accomplished.
Write down your milestones, your completions, and all your adventures. Think about the new knowledge or skills you’ve acquired… even the big lessons you’ve learned.
You’re a very different person today than you were 11 or 12 months ago. Give yourself credit for how much you’ve changed and evolved.
When you acknowledge your experiences and how much you’ve grown, you start to look at yourself and your life the way your higher self sees you: through the eyes of unconditional love and appreciation.
#3 Daydream
That’s right. I’m giving you permission to spend the next 15 minutes daydreaming. Turn off your phone, find someplace quiet, and allow your imagination to flow.
Seriously, just daydream. Focus softly on something you’d love to experience in your life and play around with the details.
Imagine where you are and how you’re feeling. Picture how you’re dressed, who’s around you, and what the scenario is all about. Relish the dream.
Allow your imagination to flow as long as it feels good. Avoid thinking about when or how it’s going to happen.
If you catch yourself starting to think about the nitty gritty of how it’s going to happen or when, you’ll notice a shift in how you feel. That’s the signal to let it go for now and think about something else.
Don’t underestimate the power of a little focused imagination. Two minutes of daydreaming can bring your desire closer to manifestation than 100 hours of effort.
Don’t wait. Don’t hesitate.
Use the next 15 minutes to change your life for the better.
Any one of these easy exercises will shift your energy. You’ll change the signal you’re broadcasting out into the universe and therefore change what you’re attracting back into your life.
You may think you don’t have the time to make huge changes in your life. But if you can find 15 minutes, any one of these simple exercises will have an outsized, positive impact on your future.
And if you enjoy doing it for 15 minutes, maybe you can carry on for another 10 or 15 minutes. Maybe this is something you can do again tomorrow.
As I make my own list of things to appreciate, you are definitely on my list. And in my own daydream, the next 15 minutes will be the start of something new and beautiful for you.
After you’ve tried one or more of these exercises, leave a comment below. I’d love to hear about your experience!
