Are you enjoying the shift in seasons?
Last night I watched a “Top 10” travel video about places to visit in the US during autumn. I sometimes miss the dramatic change seasons I used to enjoy in colder climates (here in Hawaii, seasonal changes are slow and subtle).
As a kid I loved October. It was my favorite month. The weather became cool and dry. The world changed colors. Everything looked different.
The world felt new somehow. Life was full of fun possibilities.
When I discovered Lemurian numerology as an adult, my feelings about October made a little more sense.
The energy of each month is unique.
You can get a general indication of what’s going on energetically each month by its numerology. October’s numerological value is “1” (it’s the 10th month, and 1+0=1). The number 1 is all about creation, new energy and new beginnings.
September on the other hand is a “9” month. Nine indicates completion, the end of cycles and the completion of projects and processes.
So, the period from January through September is a complete cycle, energetically speaking.
Then comes October, a “1” month of new beginnings.
October offers us a unique chance to reset and refocus for the remaining three months of the year.
It’s the perfect time to reflect on the previous nine months. We can re-establish our intentions and re-focus our attention on projects that are important to us. It’s also a great time to start thinking about 2021.
So, what do you want to complete before the end of the year?
And what would you love to be and do and experience in the new year?
