Each full moon is a time to celebrate fullness and abundance. It’s the culmination of a cycle of growth and expansion.
Last month during the full moon I did something new and interesting.
I was walking around my neighborhood, enjoying the sight of the moon through the trees, feeling the moonlight on my skin. The wind blowing from the ocean felt refreshing and healing.
As I strolled under the moonlight, I was suddenly inspired to start reciting affirmations about fullness.
I am full of love.
I am full of confidence.
I am full of abundance.
I am full of compassion.
I had never done this before. And I was surprised how good it felt.
I am full of clarity.
I am full of peace.
I am full of understanding.
I am full of wisdom.
I breathed deeply as I walked. I gently spoke whatever words floated into my consciousness.
I am full of joy.
I am full of patience.
My life is full of opportunities.
I am full of light.
I spoke the thoughts came from my heart.
Combined with the moonlight and the ocean wind, the experience left me feeling inspired, calm and content.
I felt complete. I felt connected to All That Is.
I’m going to try doing this again during this week’s full moon while I’m teaching in Tokyo.
You may want to try it, too.
Find a quiet place to walk or sit under the moonlight. Become aware of the moonlight on your face and body. Breathe deeply and open your heart.
Feel your fullness. You are a child of the Universe. You ARE the Universe.
Everything you seek and everything you will ever need is within you. You, and you alone, are the source of your abundance.
What are you full of? What affirming words does your heart want you to speak aloud?
Breathe and feel the love of the Universe flowing through you.
If you try this, I’d love to hear about your experience.
Mahalo in love and light,
